Sending Traffic to Your Landing Page
You are now ready to start sending traffic to your landing page in HubSpot.
In a previous lesson we showed you how you can build a group in Facebook. You should now actively promote your group to get people to click through to your landing page.
Pin a post that is linked to your landing page inside your group so that it is the first thing they see when each member visit your group.
Post regularly in your group and ask the group members to also invite their friends to join the group.
If you are using Gmail to send emails, then add a signature to your email. Whenever you send an email to anybody, they should see a link to your Facebook group.
The faster you can grow your group, the faster your list will grow.
The more people you have in your list, the more promotions you can send and the more people will start to buy what you suggest to them.
As soon you are starting to make real money, you can invest some of this money in paid Facebook ads to grow you list even bigger.
Trouble Shooting and Testing Your System
This is not a set and forget system but there will always be something that you can improve.
The one thing that has the most effect is your Headline. Always start at the top with your testing. Create two different posts where you only change the headline.
When you have found the winner, then change the image and see if you can improve your clickthrough rate further.
If you get clicks to your landing page, but just a few subscriptions, then look if you cannot improve the bullet points there.
The bullet points should clearly show your visitors how the gift you offer will help them to get better results. Concentrate on the dream outcome that they will get and show them all the benefits if they follow your advice.
Here your current subscribers can be of great help. Ask them what made them subscribe to your list and what could be made better.
Your goal should be to obtain a 20% to 30% or even higher conversion rate. Try not to concentrate to much on the free aspect because you don’t want just a bunch of freebie seekers on your list.
Rather try to use buying keywords to get people that will be prepared to spend money with you once they see the value that you can provide.
Questions That You Must Answer
- What is the clearly defined outcome for your customer?
- Why is it important to take action? Why now?
- What is involved? How can it be used to see results?
- How can it save them time, money and effort?
- What can happen if they follow your lead?
- How can it make their life better?

Find out what is each subscriber’s main interest and then place them in different lists. You can then send them content and information on what they are most interested in.
